It binds the calcium and magnesium minerals – the culprits behind hard water – helping reduce the residue they leave behind.

Use against hard water: ascorbic acid binds with magnesium and calcium minerals, making them water-soluble. This helps reduce the residue they leave on skin, hair and in the shower cubicle.

The lime, calcium carbonate (CaCO3), combines with ascorbic acid (C5H5O5CH2OH). The product is CO2 (carbon dioxide gas that simply goes into the atmosphere), H2O (water) and Ca(C2H3O2) (calcium acetate, which is water-soluble).

Use against chlorine: Reduces residual chlorine to non-detectable levels (KEWI lab test).

One gram of ascorbic acid neutralizes 1 milligram per liter of chlorine per 100 gallons of water. The reaction is very fast.

      Giving me Spa-Feeling

      I hade a shower head with a filter before from an other brand but I wasn't happy anymore since they changed the design of the filter refill.

      So I was forced to change to an other brand and I don't regret it any second! It is more like an upgrade especially of the vitamin c filter with the scent of tea tree. My skin doesn't feel more less dry and I really like the design of the shower head. It is less bulky and it is very easy to clean.

      Also the water pressure is very good. Because of the very small holes, the water jet feels so soft on the skin.

      Great shower improvement

      I've been using the Picki Niki shower head for three months now, and I'm genuinely impressed with the difference it has made. Living in an area with hard water, my hair often felt dry and dull, and my skin would feel tight after every shower. Since switching, I've noticed that my hair is much softer and easier to manage, while my skin feels smoother and more hydrated.

      Really happy with this shower head so far

      I’ve been using this shower head for a couple of months now. It was super easy to install, and the replacement process for the filters was very straightforward. I love the scent from the vitamin C filter every time I turn on the shower. And the water pressure is great as well.
